Rate-Assist™ provides customers with stand-alone
PC software that provides rate quotation software
and a bill of lading generator. The rate quotation
software provides rates and charges for interstate
and intrastate rates using Southeastern's national
rate scale for both LTL and TL rates. It also
acts as a routing guide providing information
on direct, partner, and interline service points.
The bill of lading generator supports pre-assigned
pro numbers, automatically assigns bill of lading
numbers, allows storing of customer names and
addresses, and stores frequently used commodities
to reduce keystrokes when generating bills of
lading. Various reports and printing capabilities
are supported by the product along with the ability
of generating files that can be exported to your
mainframe or other programs.
Download Instructions
- Click on "Rate-Assist™ '08" link to download Southeastern's
Rate-Assist™ software application.
- Select "Save this file to disk",
then click OK. (do not choose run)
- Be sure to choose the folder where you want
to save the file, then click SAVE. (If you have
a previous year's version of Rate-Assist™
installed, you must install this new version
into a different directory to be able to access
last year's rates.)
- Close all programs you are running in Windows
including any Microsoft Tool Bars before trying
to install the Rate-Assist™ software. This
should be done on any new installations of software
to prevent potential resource conflicts.
- Run the program ASSIST08.EXE from the directory selected above. This
will uncompress the files downloaded and run the SETUP program.
- Once the setup program begins, follow the
prompts to complete installation.
- If you have a problem with the installation
or the software, please contact the helpdesk.
Requirements: Windows
'98, ME, 2000, XP, or NT (4.0 or higher) operating
system, 10.0 MB of hard drive
space.
PLEASE NOTE: Windows
3.0 and Windows '95 are no longer supported.
